Grundstücke (2014-2015)

In Grundstücke I engaged with two essential dichotomies within photography: the found/staged scene and the natural/ constructed environment.

During the winter and autumn, when the seasons most noticeably affect the landscape of Berlin’s public park spaces, I extracted and rearranged the snow and leaves that cover their ground, forming small temporary territories that are then photographed, creating new uncanny landscapes.
